His career spans leadership roles in tourism, hospitality, and strategic business management, including positions at Tourism Buffalo City, Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism, and the Eastern Cape Tourism Board. He has also held senior roles at KPMG and Grant Thornton, focusing on hospitality, leisure, and tourism.
With a background in both the financial services industry and association management, Sven Bossu, who assumed the role of CEO at AIPC in May 2020, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his leadership position. Prior to joining AIPC, Sven served as the Managing Director at ESTRO (European Society for Radiation Oncology), where he spearheaded a successful branding, marketing, and digital transformation initiative.

His career spans leadership roles at South African Tourism, FEDHASA, Rennies Travel, SADC Business Council Tourism Alliance, and SARS, as well as consulting for various industry stakeholders.
Tshifhiwa also contributes to global tourism initiatives, serving on several boards, including The Sigmund Project’s Board of Advisors.
